# CyberBrain26 V5 — first sprint report

**Date:** 1 October 2026
**Scope:** start Stage 0/1, preserve the existing tree, prepare customer discovery, and verify the current prototype in both sandbox-available and sandbox-hidden test environments.

## Done

- Added [V5 roadmap](../../ROADMAP_V5.md), [product brief](PRODUCT_BRIEF_V5.md), [customer discovery plan](CUSTOMER_DISCOVERY_V5.md), and [working tree inventory](WORKING_TREE_INVENTORY_V5.md).
- Inspected the SQLite storage, task queue, approval, audit, privacy, execution, and CI code. Persistence pieces are present; their detailed limits are described in `docs/data/sqlite-storage.md` and `EXECUTION_SECURITY_REVIEW.md`.
- Preserved the staged/unstaged/untracked work. No reset, clean, broad stage, commit, or deletion was performed.
- Confirmed `.gitignore` currently excludes local SQLite database/WAL/SHM files. This edit was left as found.
- Fixed validation order in `BubblewrapExecutionProvider`: unsupported language values now fail as input errors even when Bubblewrap is absent. The existing unsupported-language test exposed this when the test environment hid the binary from `PATH`.

## Verification results

| Check | Result |
|---|---|
| Full test suite, Bubblewrap available | **291 passed** |
| Full test suite, Bubblewrap hidden from `PATH` | **283 passed, 8 skipped**; all skips require a real Bubblewrap runtime |
| Ruff | **Passed** |
| Full-package mypy | **Passed: 53 source files** |
| `git diff --check` for unstaged working-tree changes | **Clean** |
| `git diff --cached --check` for staged snapshot | **732 findings across 51 paths**; mostly historical/staged text additions. Not reformatted because that would alter pre-existing staged material. |

These results validate this working tree on the current host. They do not validate staged versions as a separate build, hosted CI, external model providers, or the sandbox against arbitrary hostile code.

## Customer discovery: not yet started

No customer interviews or external messages have been sent. There are no known respondents yet, so the target persona and product promise remain hypotheses. The prepared interview script is designed to test recent behavior before showing the product idea.

Recommended recruiting order for the Czech market:

1. Send 20 individual LinkedIn messages to developers, engineering leads, and developer-experience/security practitioners who have publicly discussed AI coding agents.
2. Ask organizers at AI Tinkerers Prague, Pražské Pyvo, the Czech Python community, and GDG Prague to share the neutral volunteer call. Do not post product promotion without organizer approval.
3. Use Czech Startup Week in Prague, scheduled for 19–23 October 2026, to meet technical founders and engineering leads and arrange 3–5 interviews.

These channels have current public activity or event information: [AI Tinkerers Prague](https://prague.aitinkerers.org/), [Pražské Pyvo](https://pyvo.cz/praha-pyvo/), [Czech Python events](https://python.cz/akce/), [GDG Prague](https://www.meetup.com/gdgprague/), and [Czech Startup Week](https://czechstartups.gov.cz/en/czech-startup-week/). Availability and rules should be reconfirmed with organizers before each outreach.

## Current gate

Stage 1 technical inventory and local verification are complete enough to continue preparing the MVP backlog. **Do not lock the operating-system release target or first agent integration yet**: the V5 roadmap makes those choices dependent on customer evidence. The next product gate is to recruit and interview 8–12 relevant people, with at least 2 agreeing to a concrete pilot before committing to the MVP scope.

The user has no initial contact list. The next practical step is to publish the prepared [volunteer call](CUSTOMER_DISCOVERY_V5.md) in a suitable community or approve a named outreach list and channel. No one will be contacted by this task without a direct user instruction.
